Ollie Dog Food Review & Discount (3x for Healthcare Workers!)
My dog Tyrion and I decided to write up an Ollie Dog Food Review after he tried the food. I sat out on this one. Ollie claims to have human grade dog food, and it does look really healthy and natural. Of course, all dog food that has meat has a brown coloration and when it’s ground, there’s just no getting past that image, but it didn’t have the overpowering smell that canned dog food has (nice or cheap, they all have strong smells). Plus, this is dog food made in the USA!
Ollie was offering 50% off the first box, and during quarantine, it’s been hard for us all to enjoy life outside the home, so a little healthy treat is nice. I’m sure the price will be different for every pup, depending on size, age and needs. My dog’s plan costs $31.82 a week and he’s about 3 years old and at a perfect weight at 15 lbs.. This was the total price with shipping included (free shipping) for the first 2 weeks. The cost is a lot more than high end kibble. They do have an option for those that don’t want to commit to a whole transition, but the savings was only like 15%. You can cancel, pause, and skip anytime. Due to cost alone, I think we will likely order one-third of the time and mix it in with our dog’s kibble for dinners. We’re big Merrick dog food fans for our dry dog food FYI. We also rotate mid-range to nice wet canned food. Our dog LOVES gravy nights which are about 2 nights per week. Canned dog food isn’t good on the teeth so we always follow it up with a dental chew or a raw-hide. Again, he loves gravy night!
If you’re a first-responder or a healthcare worker, you can receive 50% off your first 3 shipments or 6 weeks through this link! I don’t know how long Ollie dog food will have this offer, but I think it’s really helpful for busy dog parents that are helping us during this tough time.
You can see in the YouTube video review I did above on Ollie that my dog went crazy for the feeding… and it was just that… a feeding. He went from cute dog to complete animal that would’ve bit my finger off if I went anywhere near him in a couple seconds flat. My dog is a VERY picky eater too. He doesn’t like half the dog treats we buy, and we have to rotate treats halfway through a bag so he doesn’t get tired of them. He’s a total treat snob!
In short, the fact that he liked Ollie dog food does say something. If it wasn’t Covid-19 year and our household could afford more, we would make this the all-meal solution for him. Ollie is a little spendy, but I can tell the quality is good, the company cares about animals, they use environmental packaging, and my dog loved the dog food. We will keep it his daily meal plan, but in 2020 we’re being cost sensitive because we just have no idea where the market is going. Merrick dry dog food is good too and he does seem to like it. I think we’re going to do a mix of wet and dry with Ollie and Merrick.

I hope your dog loves Ollie dog food as much as ours does! This is an affiliate article, but I only post on things I use and believe in. Don’t forget to subscribe to the youtube channel if you liked the video and check out my podcast series for women that life and work! I also have tons of pictures of my cute little dog on Instagram. Feel free to go check out my Ollie posts on Instagram and let me know about your experience with your pup as well! Also, don’t let the crazy faced image on the YouTube video fool you. My dog is actually quite adorable! Even if he wasn’t (which he is) it’s in the Dog Mom contract to admit nothing else.
